Trichology

If you’re experiencing concerns regarding your hair and/or scalp, our Trichologist can conduct a thorough diagnosis and recommend a tailored treatment plan.

What is Trichology?

Trichology is a field of study in both medicine and cosmetics that focuses on the health of the hair and scalp. Our Trichologist has completed extensive training with The Institute of Trichologists, which is the premier provider of Trichology education in Europe.

Schedule Your Consultation Today!

Your consultation will involve comprehensive questioning and an analysis of various factors, including your lifestyle, any medical conditions you may have, your diet, family history, and hair care routines you follow. Your assessment includes the use of a Trichoscope. This technology employs light and magnification lenses to provide a clear view of the hair and scalp, aiding in determining the cause, treatment options, and prognosis. The Trichoscope is directly connected to a computer and provides live imaging for you to observe.

When necessary, Microscopy will also be used. For this procedure, a sample of 10-20 hairs are placed under an optical microscope to magnify the hair bulbs. After our diagnosis, we will then be able to recommend various treatment options to you from our extensive range of targeted products. After your consultation we will provide you with a leaflet containing the information you need. This will then be followed up with an email offering you a complimentary 20-minute return visit within 3 months. This provides a great opportunity for us to monitor your progress. If you would prefer a 1-hour consultation, the cost is £80.00.
